Silverton Marine Corp. has added a new craft to its popular line of express cruisers. Called the Silverton 361, the new boat is large and aesthetically pleasing. In contrast with other vessels, its stylish character is not achieved at the expense of utility.

Rock singer and musician Billy Joel ordered a 38-foot motorboat from naval architect Douglas Zurn and builder Peter J. Needham. The boat called 'Nomad' is Joel's third. Its 600-hp engine provides a cruising speed of 25 knots.
