UN's world heritage - UNESCO issue
Article Abstract:
The United Nations Postal Administration issued on Jan 24, 1992, six commemorative stamps celebrating the 20th anniversary of the adoption of UNESCO's World Heritage Convention. This is the second set of commemorative stamps issued to honor UNESCO.

First 1996 USPS issue honors Utah
Article Abstract:
The USPS' first stamp for 1996 depicts the Delicate Arch landmark in Utah. McRay Magleby designed the stamp. The USPS will issue the Utah Statehood stamp on Jan 4, 1996. The stamp commemorates the state's Centennial celebration.

Sixteenth black heritage stamp features Julian
Article Abstract:
Chemist Percy L. Julian was honored with a commemorative stamp on Jan 29, 1993 by the US Postal Service under its Black Heritage Series. Julian, who lived from 1899-1975, was a pioneer in the field of pharmaceutical synthesis.
