Unmanned aircraft sets world record

Article Abstract:

The 13.1-kg newest version of the Aerosonde has set a world record by crossing the Atlantic without a pilot. It has a 76-mph cruise speed, a range of more than 3,270 km and a 2-gallon gas tank. Its primary purpose is to monitor temperature, humidity, pressure and winds over oceans.
