The actor Sylvester Stallone donated a piece of his art work to be used in a cachet for the May 26, 1995 first day issue of the UN stamp honoring youth. A thumbnail sketch of Stallone's life and career are provided. Notice of the first annual WFUNA's art contest for youth and children was also given.

Masayuki Miyata produces WFUNA print

Article Abstract:

Miyata's acclaimed work 'Red Mt. Fuji' will be featured on a stamp issued Feb 3, 1995, to commemorate the agency's social summit theme. Miyata uses an intricate technique to make his works, which are in high demand throughout the world. The aim of the social summit is to improve social standards.
