Nick Ziroli Plans designs giant-scale model airplanes and accessories which are manufactured by companies such as Aeroplane Works. Meanwhile, balsa sheeting fins and stabilizers should be done with the appropriate glue to avoid warps on the model's surface.

Obechi is an African hardwood that is heavier and harder than balsa and has the advantage of being available in fairly long and fairly wide sheets. Techniques for using obechi in model airplane construction are described.
