Article Abstract:

Tony Peach is a tegestologist or a beer mat collector who has a collection of more than 100,000 beer mats present day who started collecting beer mats as a school project. His interest grew when he joined a beer mat collecting society and many of his exciting finds have come from advertising or responding to advertisements in the papers and he would like to possess beer mats from the Albion Brewery in Leeds issued in the 1920's or the pre-war Shrewsbury and Wem beer mats.

Hudson Valley show celebrates 20th year

Article Abstract:

The Rhinebeck Antiques Fair's 20th anniversary show will be held on Oct. 12-13, 1997 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. The show, regarded for its dealers and the quality of the exhibits, began in 1977 as a benefit sale for the Bard College and has been held twice yearly since.
