Gabby Talkington began collecting antique fishing tackle when his wife developed a debilitating illness and he was not able to fish as often as he liked. He has more than 400 lures, 100 reels and 200 other pieces of equipment in his collection.

Ron Chapman and Patricia Chapman saw an old Navaho rug on the floor of a post office in Navaho, Arizona, bought it, and added it to their growing collection, which started with a birthday gift of an Indian bracelet in 1968.
