The late William McCarty-Cooper's abode is filled with famous cubist paintings he inherited from his adoptive father, Douglas Cooper. These, together with the other objets d'art that William collected, reflect the late decorator's incongruous and eclectic taste.

Article Abstract:

Decorator Mica Ertegun and her husband Ahmet together with architect Jaquelin T. Robertson, designed and built a neoclassical house with Russian influence and sunny Virginia character. The interior decoration was done by Mica.
