A high-profile designer couple, Reed and Delphine Krakoff, refurbished a derelict, half-gutted house that most architects would not even give a second glance. Telephone company service people refused to install lines in their house thinking that the structures were too weak but determination and a little bit of money allowed them to transform the place into a work of art in the heart of Manhattan.

Some of Wanzenberg's selected stylish objects for the house include 1950s French chaises and lightning, a contemporary sofa by B&B Italia, vintage Billy Haines chairs, and other designs by George Nakashima.
