An architectural design show titled Twelve Architects/Tweleve Clients - New Architecture in Oakland is on view until Mar 1993 at the San Francisco furniture gallery Limn. Included are recommended designs for the rebuilding in Oakland, CA, which was razed by fire in 1991.

Artist David Deutsch is opposed to any sort of decorative or ornamental features to architecture, believing its sole purpose is to function. To this end he has created an new home using concrete and plywood, devoid of any decorative embellishments.
