Chippers and shredders enhance the composting process. They produce mulch easily and quickly and pulverize materials for a compost pile. Some of the machines available for this are examined: Troy-Bilt 10-HP; Mighty Mac LSC508; Kemp Brushmaster; Garden Way; Simplicity 2C; and Weed Eater 2580.

Build a root cellar!

Article Abstract:

A simple root cellar can be built inexpensively, and a basement is the ideal location. A cool, damp area should be chosen, and controlled ventilation is necessary. Cedar or other rot-resistant wood is best. Complete instructions are given.
