Christine Federighi, an artist and maker of mummylike figurative ceramics feel that any new series of her work is in response to situation, either personal or other. She thinks that she is going to make a little globe that's her visualization of her true self for every day that she has cancer.

Anne Kingsbury: contemporary fabulist

Wisconsin fiber artist Anne Kingsbury's works are characterized by a high degree of craftsmanship and a passion for traditionally female objects. Despite their domesticity, however, her compositions also reflect a strong fascination for wild fabulist undertones and dark moral themes.
