Architects J. Carson Looney and Brad Shapiro created a more economical version of the traditional Greek Revival house for a housing development in Memphis Harbor Town, TN. The house has a columned entrance porch and a trellised upper portico with a view of the river.

Coastal cottage for easy living

Article Abstract:

Architect Roger Farris created the winning design for a new home that occupied less than 1,500 square feet while fulfilling the owners' need for space. Each upper floor of the three-story home is smaller than the floor beneath.
