A personal narrative is presented of collecting china from the British Royal Doulton company, specifically Beatrix Potter figurines. The first Doulton company was founded in 1815, and received a royal warrant in 1901. It was ot until 1947 that the first Beatrix Potter figure arrived, in the form of 'Jemima Puddleduck'.
