Collector's corner: Cowboys on the block

Article Abstract:

Most of the paintings of the old West show cowboys as fast-shooting, hard-riding, bear-slaying heroes where artists like Frederic Remington and Charles Russell rode trials with them and painted every detail scenes they witnessed. Artist Frederic Remington was inspired to paint cowboys and created some of their most important works.

Emmett Kelly Sr. the pantomime artist, America's most famous hobo who ran away from circus to join the Brooklyn Dodgers best known as the character 'Weary Willie' who never gave up relieved people from sadness by his acts. A brief discussion on his life and his achievements is presented.
