Dealers look for a strong year

Article Abstract:

National Kitchen and Bath Association dealer/members who were randomly surveyed indicated overwhelming optimism for increased sales in 1997. Around 70% of dealers expected sales volume increases versus 1% who expected a decrease. Dealers in the Southeast and Southwest were particularly optimistic, buoyed by a population influx and new construction. Dealers selling high-end product lines are proving to be best equipped to handle tough competition from large national hardware chains.

He says the trick to All American's success is not trying to compete with Home Depot.
