Recipes of four types oatmeal-cookies including iced cookies with apple sauce, peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies, date-walnut bars, and oatmeal-raisin cookies are presented. All of the recipes use old-fashioned rolled oats, which produce good texture than the smaller-cut, quick-cooking kind.
