Did equipment editor really start tomatoes from seed?!!

Article Abstract:

Organic Gardening's machinery editor tested four kinds of lights in starting tomatoes indoors from seeds, and chronicled the growth stages. Plants grown with four-foot cool-white fluorescent tubes outgrew those under fluorescent Vita-lites and a 75-watt incandescent growlight.
