Disney Christmas cavalcade

Mickey Mouse became a favorite cartoon character after his introduction by Walt Disney Studios in the 1930s. All books, cards, catalogs and displays that feature his image are extremely popular with consumers, making Mickey Mouse the most enduring symbols of Christmas.

The mouse that Clark built

Article Abstract:

Charlotte Clark made the first Mickey Mouse doll in 1930. She came up with a design for a doll which was readily accepted by Walt and Roy Disney. She then stayed on with the Disney company and designed dolls for other characters.

Candy containers in the late 1800s and early 1900s were used as Christmas tree decorations. Some were designed to serve as decorations while others were given as gifts and eventually used as decorations.
