Ergonomic rake sales depend on customer education

Article Abstract:

Ergonomic rakes have not been selling as well as other ergonomic tools and retailers attribute that to the higher prices of the rakes. They have, therefore, called on manufacturers to reduce the prices of the redesigned rakes. The manufacturers, however, are reluctant to do so, arguing that customer education and information about the benefits of the rakes are the keys to boosting ergonomic rake sales.

Controversy builds CO detector sales

Article Abstract:

Home owners in the US have rushed to buy and install carbon monoxide (CO) detectors in the houses after several deaths related to carbon monoxide poisoning received major coverage in the national media in 1993. About 10,000 people are estimated to be poisoned and about 1,500 people killed every year by the odorless, invisible gas. The effectiveness of the detectors, however, has been questioned.
