Fishing for compliments

Article Abstract:

Rich and Frankie Whitaker have always enjoyed fish as a decorating theme. When they moved into their new home in Annapolis, Maryland, they went all out with the theme and used fish-print fabric for curtain valances, pillows, and other accessories. They used bright primary colors rather than pastels often associated with aquatic themes.

Splashed and spattered

Article Abstract:

People can add life and beauty to their table settings by artistically painting their canvass place mats. Irregular and random designs can be created by using varied sizes of paint brush. However, proper blending of accent and background colors should be observed.
