Going home to Kew: after living abroad, the director of the Royal Botanic Gardens fulfills a boyhood ambition

Article Abstract:

Botanist Ghillean Prance has worked and lived at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, near London since 1988. The garden of his house is patterned after British gardens and is the source of kitchen supplies and meal ingredients, which his wife, Anne, processes and prepares herself.

All along the garden path

Article Abstract:

Thomas Reinhardt and his partners designed a Long Island garden and successfully captured the looks of the natural landscape. A walk through the garden path reveals clusters of greenery each mimicking the feel of either a shoreline, a marshland or an enchanted forest.
