Green wholesaler seeks non-green end-users

Article Abstract:

GreenCo is advertising its environmentally friendly products to drug, food, and hardware stores' shoppers to convince them to buy green. The company's green products include vegetable-based cleaning products, citrus-based paint strippers, low-flow shower heads, recycled plastic and rubber hoses, and non-toxic septic systems. GreenCo will not offer building supplies due to high shipping costs.

NARI '96 stresses buying trends, competition

Remodelers benefitted by the many activities and displays at the NARI '96/America's Remodeling Marketplace show, in Chicago, IL, during Mar 1996. Attendees were shown the benefits of computer-aided design packages that show clients what their remodeling projects will look like in three-dimension form. Remodelers also learned about the importance of maintaining contact with their customers.

Color trends for '98 and beyond

Color designers say that violet, indigo, blue, green and orange are among the colors that will dominate home decor products as 2000 approaches. Color designer Barbara Richardson predicts that the new century will usher in a shift from gray and somber to more vibrant colors. Other designers say such things as home furnishings, wallpaper and paint will come in an array of bright colors.
