Harvesttime in the flower garden

Article Abstract:

Gardeners of edible sweet potatoes are advised to dig the ornamental tubers before the frost season. They also need to avoid wounding the tuber since it may lead to infection. In case the tuber has been cut, sulfur can be applied to prevent rotting.

Vegetables after a fashion

Article Abstract:

Genie White of Charlotte, NC, maintains a vegetable garden which is both useful and beautiful. Unlike the neat rows typical of vegetable plots, White's garden has a unique layout which was inspired by a garden in England.
