Alyce Head, an artist, attempts to develop and exploit the artistic potentials of children through her one-day summer workshop. The workshop does not only teach children to do creative works, but also enlightens them on the nature and appreciation of art works.

Simple flower arrangements can help brighten up interiors during the winter. Flowers such as alstroemerias, tulips, daffodils and oriental lilies can be placed in narrow glass vases or low metal containers and set on a table or dresser.
