Article Abstract:

Italian glassblower Lino Tagliapietra paved the way for the recognition of glassblowing in the country. Tagliapietra came from Murano which is the center of the craft in Italy. Tagliapietra has been awarded the 1998 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Glass Art Society.
