Panayoti Kelaidis, premier rock gardener in the U.S., explains how the microclimates of the Burren work and also how to recreate such effects in the garden. The Burren is a stony place on Ireland's west coast with countless niches and crevices that creates a huge variety of conditions and corresponding diversity of plant life.
