Pass the peas, please

Article Abstract:

Southern peas or cowpeas are related to the bean, with the main difference being that the pods of Southern peas are not eaten. Several varieties exist, distinguishable by pea coloration, pod coloration, size, flavor and shape, although Southern gardeners each have different names for their peas.

Tomato man

Article Abstract:

Gardener Paul Newell is a devoted tomato grower since 1946. He grows his in a backyard garden in Kosciusko, MP, and harvests them initially in middle of May. Newell reveals that good soil is a major factor to consider in growing tomatoes.
