Azaleas, that are beautiful bloomers are soft and can be grown in a moist and well drained soil with lots of organic matter. Tips on planting various types of evergreen azaleas with beautiful colors and precautions to be taken to protect the plants from spider mites and lace bugs are presented.

Smart choices with monkey grass

Article Abstract:

Monkey grass, the most commonly used ground cover, is easy to maintain, usually evergreen and heat-tolerant and has attractive flowers. The clumping form of the grass, Liriope muscari, is often used for edging and the creeping 'Gyoko Ru' and is grown between stepping-stones.
