Sandy Simon

Article Abstract:

Potter Sandy Simon's works embody the studio craft aesthetic of intelligence and originality combined with functionality. Unlike other potters, however, Simon prefers to incorporate bold styles, funny colors and daring lines in her works and deliberately shuns the dark earthiness of contemporary pottery.
