Scott Antique Markets' Atlanta show a good example of current market climate

Article Abstract:

One of the largest collections of high-quality antiques is displayed every second weekend of the month at the Scott Show in Atlanta, GA. Antique dealer Kenny Finley of Nashville, TN, fetched $1,200 for a walnut Victorian shaving stand from 1870, while an 1830 Mahogany Sheraton Sideboard sold for $2,300.

Japanese dolls

Article Abstract:

Japanese antique dolls are miniature portraits of Japanese history, politics, culture, religion and arts since the 16th century. The dolls, which were mostly made out of organic materials, show the sophisticated techniques employed by Japanese doll makers.
