Ceramist Sergei Isupov uses his life experiences to come up with visually arresting porcelain sculptures. His teapot series sealed his reputation in the US. Detailed and decorative patterns adorn his works which are figural in form and design.

Mary Shaffer

Article Abstract:

Mary Shaffer's exhibition at the Heller Gallery in New York City on Feb. 3-25, 1996 showcased her sculptures which she has made since 1974. The pieces were combinations of glass and metal which convey the image of drapes moving in a breeze.
