A trail of discovery

Kentucky is one of the states caught between Confederate and Union forces during the American Civil War of 1861-1865. The Civil War Discovery Trail in Kentucky honors over 400 war-related sites, which include the Shaker Village in Pleasant Hill.

Kentucky's best spot

Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest's panoramic view has made it one of the most enchanting places in Kentucky. The forest contains about 2,000 varieties of trees and plants as well as four lakes and several picnic sites.
