Swing-up bike rack

Article Abstract:

A bike rack that hangs from an unfinished ceiling is designed to free up floor and wall space in a basement or garage. The rack consists of wooden rails and PVC pipe and swings up to the ceiling by means of a rope and two pulleys. Step-by-step instructions for making the rack are provided.

Kitchen Wine Rack

Wine racks in the kitchen can take up useful counter or floor space, therefore constructing one that can fit into a kitchen cabinet is recommended. Instructions are provided for building a wine rack that can be hidden, including the materials and tools needed for the project.

Magazine racks

Article Abstract:

Instructions for building two types of home magazine racks are given. The non-painted plywood rack fits into small spaces and is fashioned to look like tonal drum. The painted rack holds many magazines and is made with plywood, dowels and a 2-by-4-foot board.
