Article Abstract:

Nineteen pepper categories, such as hottest hot pepper, biggest stuffing pepper, and tiniest bell pepper, are presented with at least one pepper variety given for each category. Tips are given on growing peppers, and where to buy pepper seeds. Included is a table of 28 varieties.

Eggstraordinary eggplants

Article Abstract:

Seventeen varieties of eggplants are described with notes on days to maturity. A list of sources are provided. Tips are also given on growing eggplants. Varieties include the fat globular 'bambino' to slender 'little fingers' to round red ones called 'Turkish orange.'

Hot Asian peppers

Article Abstract:

Asian peppers are small, fiery peppers that grow in attractive clusters. They need a sunny locations and lots of water and calcium and are a good choice for container gardening. Thai recipes for a stir-fry and a sauce are included.
