Some of the best restaurants beyond Mississippi and the Mid-Atlantic regions where one can find baked, grilled or fried catfish all on its menu are discussed. These include the Flying Fish Restaurant in Little Rock popular for converting beautiful piece of fish into a work of art, Brennan's of Houston famous for Catfish Mousse and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and Tenpenh Restaurant famous for Hong Kong -style whole Catfish.

Thyme out in Arkansas

Article Abstract:

The Mountain Thyme Bed and Breakfast Inn and the Herb Plus farm are located 20 miles outside of Hot Springs in rural Jessieville, Arkansas off of Scenic 7 North. The eight-bedroom inn which features home cooking made the list of the Top Ten Friendliest Innkeepers in the United States. Herb Plus farm owner Kathy Seitz grows over 125 different types of herbs and sells them to people across 10 states.

A quiet getaway

Article Abstract:

An exploration of Subiaco Abbey and Academy founded by Benedictine monks in the year 1878 in Subiaco, Arkansas is presented. The various places worth visiting in the abbey include a gift shop and bookstore in the Coury House, and the Romanesque-style church where visitors are allowed to attend Sunday Mass at 10:45 a.m. and vespers at 7 p.m.
