The lacy days of summer

Article Abstract:

Queen Anne's lace flowers grow in clusters and fields of the wildflowers are common in the South. Children can enjoy the fields, play hide-and-seek or lie down amidst the flowers. According to Southern tales, the deep red spot in the flower's center resulted from a wound suffered by Queen Anne as a child.
