Article Abstract:

A sun-space was redesigned by adding a new wall color and a more sunny style. The wall was painted yellow to replace the old tomato-soup shade. The sunroom also used the color red in the Staffordshire pottery print for the ottoman and accent pillows. The sofa was blue.

A family in Louisville, KY, purchased a 19th century farmhouse and set about installing modern amenities. However, they made sure that the historic quality of the house was preserved.
