Trek to the top of Texas

Hundreds of hikers take to the tough trail to reach the Guadalupe peak, the top of Texas and all one needs to make it to the top are water, lots of it, an aluminum hiking pole and loads of determination. The months of May, September and October are best for hiking and the entire climb takes around four hours but the view from the top is worth the arduous journey.
