Visiting the great pumpkin patch

Article Abstract:

The Condill family's five-hundred-plus-acre farm, the Great Pumpkin Patch, which is located in central Illinois' Amish county, features pumpkin specimens grown from more than thirty countries with four hundred varieties on hand. In order to make it more than a place to purchase pumpkins from, the Condill family decided to make it an annual destination for families where the farm receives an annual forty thousand guests during the high season from mid-September through Halloween.
