We need each other

Article Abstract:

Hardware and lumber yard retailers who remain loyal to their main wholesalers when they buy exclusively from them hope for the same loyalty from them, but, often, this is not the case. Retailers report that some wholesalers decide to supply competing operations that move into a retailer's area, making it more difficult for existing retailers to remain as profitable. The question of loyalty must be worked out because both wholesalers and retailers need each other.
