Y'all in America

Article Abstract:

A local of Boston, MA, learned to appreciate the value of the 'y'all' phrase. Although his use of this phrase reminds him that he hails from the Yankee state and is discriminated by people of the North, he realized that contracting of the you and the all actually promotes unity.

Horticulture hosted a roundtable meeting in May 2003 with five of its contributing editors namely Lauren Springer, Scott Ogden, Felder Rushing, Valerie Easton, and David Culp. This meeting was organized to identify a number of pressing issues faced by the American gardeners.
