Bunk beds to carry voluntary safety label
Article Abstract:
Beginning January 1, 2005, all US manufactured bunk beds will be labeled with voluntary safety warnings about child strangulation. Though it will not impact imported beds, it is hoped that retailers will inform their import sources about the labeling. The label has been developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials.
