Businessman buys Hamilton Square

The acquisition of Hamilton Square, a two-story showroom complex at 101 S. Hamilton Street, has been sold to a company headed by C. Wayne Donald, a High Point businessman who owns five other showroom buildings in the downtown area is discussed.

Lytell buys 24 Magowitz stores

Roger Magowitz has sold some of his Metropolitan Mattress mattress stores to Steve Lytell. Magowitz sold 24 of the stores to Lytell, a co-founder of Mattress Discounters.

Simmons buys 49 sleep shops
