Culp restructures sales at 2 divisions

Article Abstract:

Culp, a High Point, CA-based consumer textiles firm, has restructured its domestic sales organizations for two of its divisions namely, Culp Decorative Fabrics and Culp Velvets/Prints, as part of an overall reorganization. The reorganized sales organization will be responsible for the textured fabrics marketed by Culp Textures, Rossville/Chromatex and Phillips Mills under Culp Decorative Fabrics with Dan E. Jacobs as president and Tim Dolan as vice president of sales and marketing. The new sales force will also be expanded due to the addition of the velvet and printed fabrics manufactured by Philips Mills with Frank Saxon as president and Dominick Anile as vice president of sale and marketing.

Lackawanna, 3uph. mfrs. team up for displays

Article Abstract:

Lackawanna has partnered with three upholstery manufacturers, which include Drexel Heritage, Barcalounger and Jaymar, to help the companies design their showrooms. Lackawanna will employ its new technique in leather upholstery displays, featuring every product in Lackawanna leathers. The partnership calls for Lackawanna to design between 1,200 to 1,500 sq ft in the Jaymar showroom, 1,250 sq ft in Barcalounger's space and 1,700 sq ft in the Drexel Heritage showroom. Under the new setup, all of Lackawanna's design ideas must be approved by manufacturers.
