Giorgio selling to former T'ville exec Chuck Gordon

Article Abstract:

The Giorgio Collection of High Point, NC, will soon be owned by Chuck Gordon, the former SVP of Thomasville Furniture. The company's principal, Alan "Giorgio" Meadoff, who will remain with the firm in a consulting capacity, has reached an agreement-in-principle with Gordon, who joined Giorgio as EVP 19 months prior to the change of ownership. Giorgio, which expects the deal to become final on Nov. 1, 1998, will continue doing business with Fabio Masolo of Milan, Italy, who supplies his furnitures to the US company.
