Lane pays $900,000 to end cedar chest case

Lane Company Inc. has reached a deal to pay a financial settlement to the Consumer Product Safety Commission to end a cedar chest case. The company will pay $900,000 to end a case involving the death of children trapped inside Lane's cedar chests.
