Plant Delights Nursery
Article Abstract:
The owners of Plant Delights Nursery and the Juniper Level Botanical Garden have succeeded in turning a sandy, former tobacco farm into a showplace of lush conifers, colorful shrubs and plants of several varieties. Tony and Michele Avent have also shifted from herbicide use to organic gardening.

Moravians and Shakers
Article Abstract:
An exhibition of 19th-century needlework is featured at the Heritage Center Museum. These are religious and poetic embroidered scenes made by former student of the Lititz Moravian Girls' School. At the 1824 Centre House, a collection of Shaker seed boxes, manuscripts and ephemera is on display.

Charming Forge
Article Abstract:
Charming Forge is located on the crest of a hill in the southern part of Berks County. The property, an 18th-century mansion of gray stone and Georgian architecture, was previously known as Tulpehocken Eisenhammer, which in German means iron forge.
