The opening of a 13,000-square-foot Flexsteel gallery store, in the retailer's former Thomasville Home Furnishings store, by the Schneiderman's Furniture is discussed. The relevant details regarding its plans to open its largest full-line Schneiderman in January 2005 are presented.

AHFA's Sligh seeks to unite industry

Rob Sligh, the chairman and chief executive officer of Sligh Furniture is going to lead a trade group, as a 2005 president of the American Home Furnishings Alliance. He is planning to increase the home furnishings share of United States consumer spending and to unite the industry.
