Schweiger may close: upholstery producer talking with potential buyers

Schweiger, 105-year-old stationary upholstery based in Wisconsin, is about to shut down if it cannot found a buyer because of losses in business due to price competition from the import market. It was best known for its upholstered sofas, loveseats, chairs and sofa-sleepers, and came as a surprise to many of its 135 employees.
